Working in close partnership with the local organising committees, our management team have supported and assisted in all aspects of planning and operating major association conferences, both International and Local.

Patricia Mc Colgan
Conference Director
With the Abbey Group since 1981, Patricia has overall responsibility for the planning and operation of Abbey Conference & Corporate. She has overseen the management of all our major international conferences for the past 20 years.

Marina Finn
Business Development Director
Working closely with her colleague Patricia, Marina is responsible for financial planning, supplier contracts and accommodation management. She has 18 years experience as a professional conference organiser with Abbey.

Anne Griffin
Conference Manager
Anne is responsible for the daily project management of our association conference business. Since joining Abbey Tours, Anne has managed 40 conferences with anywhere from 100 to 3,000 participating delegates. In 2003 she worked with the Special Olympics World Summer Games, as a key member of the event team.

Annalisa Scalavino
Senior Conference Co-ordinator
A member of our Conference Team since 2003, Annalisa graduated from the University of Turin, where she was an award winning graduate, specialising in the business of Conference and Event Management.

John Healy
Special Projects Director
Formerly Managing Director of O Mara Travel, John has 18 years experience in our business. He has been involved in the planning and operation of many different international conferences and events, including the very successful 19th International James Joyce Symposium / Bloomsday 100 celebrations

Steffi Schmidt
Senior Account Manager
A native of Germany, Steffi joined Abbey Conference and Corporate back in 2007, having previously worked in Germany with the tour operator DERTOUR. Steffi is responsible for the management of a number of Abbeys annual repeat conferences. With a degree in Finance, Investment and accountancy Steffi has a special interest in the budget and financial management side of operations.

Mai Olden
Senior Account Manager
Mai is a seasoned events professional who has handled all aspects of Conference and Corporate Event management including project and budget management, delegate services, venue and supplier co-ordination, sponsor and exhibition promotion and delivery. During her career Mai, has operated National & International conferences and events in Ireland, UK, Italy, France and the USA. Mai has an economics degree from University College Cork and a Post Graduate degree in Business & IT from University College Dublin.

Olivia O'Connor
Business Development Account Manager
Olivia is an established Business Professional with widespread exposure to all aspects of Business Management and Development. She has extensive expertise in the execution of Sales and Marketing strategies and has excellent management skills. Olivia has worked in the industry for a number of years and recently became a certified Business and Personal Coach which has significantly contributed to the successful management of Sales and Marketing campaigns which she has led.
