Ambassadors are thought leaders in their field, recognised for their professional achievements, acknowledged for their contributions and passionate in their support for their country, and in particular their local area, as an events destination.

Financial Support

The Association Conference Financial Support Scheme is available to anyone considering hosting an international conference in Ireland, from the initial invitation or bid, right up to the conference itself.  
 
The three main areas supported are:
Bidding:
Support is available towards the costs of attractive documents and presentations to set your bid apart. Financial assistance can also be secured towards the costs of international travel in bidding for a particular international or association conference to choose Ireland as the host destination.
Marketing Fund:
In order to increase delegate attendance and ensure the success of your conference, we support activities that promote your conference internationally. One of the main features of this is support with print and website design. Also, some assistance is available towards travel in the intervening years to promote the Republic of Ireland to delegates by attending previous conferences.
Site Inspections:
A site inspection can be a key element of the decision-making process and conference ambassadors can avail of financial aid towards the travel and accommodation costs of inviting up to three of the decision makers to come to the Republic of Ireland to visit potential venues and accommodation properties.
